Who is Louis Lochead

Louis Lochead grew up in New York City where his love of art was cultivated. Currently based out of Orlando Florida he focuses almost entirely in Fine Art Collage. No ink and no paint is used in the creation of these works. Look closely and you will see the entire "painting" is composed entirely of hand torn magazine images. Louis believes this gives his work added dimension as well as texture. Says Louis, "I believe art should be a constant source of visual and mental stimulation, it should allow for a constant experience of discovery. The images within the works are chosen specifically to correlate with the subject of the overall piece._x000D_
Louis Lochead has won several fine art awards and has been featured at The Orlando Museum of Art. For the past several years he has exhibited exclusively at the fine art gallery in Walt Disney World, Chicago and Miami._x000D_
